This website is run by Bhavsar Samaj, Dhule (“the samaj”, “we”, “us”), a community organisation of the Bhavsar community based in Dhule, Maharashtra. By using this website, or by registering for the matrimony service Bhavsar Vivah Sanstha, you agree to these terms.
1. The matrimony service
Bhavsar Vivah Sanstha helps families of the Bhavsar community find a suitable life partner. Registered members can create a profile, search other members' profiles, keep a wishlist and send connection requests. Contact details are shared only when both members accept a connection.
The samaj only provides a place for families to find and contact each other. We do not arrange, guarantee or take part in any marriage, and we do not guarantee that you will find a match.
2. Who can register
- The bride or groom must be at least the legal age of marriage in India: 18 years for women and 21 years for men.
- The service is meant for members of the Bhavsar community and their families.
- A profile may be created by the bride or groom, or by a parent, sibling or relative with their knowledge and consent.
- One profile per person. You must not create a profile for someone else without their consent.
3. Registration fee
- Registration requires a one-time fee of ₹99 (inclusive of any applicable charges). There are no monthly or renewal fees.
- The fee activates your profile so that other registered members can find it, and gives you access to search, the wishlist and connection requests.
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank login details.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Your responsibilities
- All information and photos in your profile must be true, current and your own. False information, including about age, marital status, education, income or family, is not allowed.
- Use other members' contact details only to talk about a possible marriage. Do not share them, sell them or use them for any business, promotion or other purpose.
- Do not harass, threaten, mislead or ask for money from other members.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
5. Please check before you decide
The committee may review profiles and mark some as Verified, but we cannot check every detail of every profile. Before taking any decision about marriage, families should meet in person and make their own enquiries about the other person and their family. Never send money to anyone you meet through this service. If someone asks for money or behaves badly, use the Report option on their profile or contact the samaj.
6. What the samaj may do
- Review, approve, hide, suspend or delete any profile that breaks these terms, is reported by members, or that we reasonably believe is not genuine.
- If a profile is suspended or deleted for breaking these terms, the registration fee is not refunded.
- Change or pause parts of the service, for example for maintenance.
7. Hiding or deleting your profile
You can hide your profile or delete your account at any time from My profile. Deleting your account removes your profile, photos, wishlist, requests and connections. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
8. Content on this website
The samaj's name, logo, text and photos on this website belong to the samaj or are used with permission. Do not copy them for other purposes without our written permission. You keep ownership of the photos and text you add to your profile, and allow us to show them to other registered members as part of the service.
9. Limitation of liability
The samaj provides this service on a voluntary, community basis. We are not responsible for the conduct of members, for the accuracy of information members provide, or for any decision, meeting or marriage that follows from using the service. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the registration fee you paid.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts at Dhule, Maharashtra. We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve any concern directly.
