  • Private contact details: mobile numbers, email, address and contact person.
  • Activity in the service: your wishlist, connection requests, blocks and any reports you make.
  • Payment records: the amount, date, status and Razorpay order and payment IDs. Card, UPI and bank details are handled entirely by Razorpay; we never receive or store them.

3. How we use your information

  • To run the matrimony service: showing your profile to suitable members, search, requests and notifications.
  • To confirm your payment and keep accounts of fees received.
  • To keep the service safe: checking profiles, and acting on reports of fake profiles or misuse.
  • To contact you about your account if needed.

We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for advertising or marketing.

4. Where it is stored

We use trusted service providers to run the website. They store data on our behalf and may use servers in India or other countries:

  • Google Firebase: logins and the database of profiles, requests and payment records.
  • Cloudinary: profile and event photos.
  • Razorpay: payment processing.
  • Vercel: hosting of the website itself.

5. Cookies

When you log in, we set one cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 5 days. It cannot be read by other websites, and it is removed when you log out. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The map on the home page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies.

6. How long we keep it, and deleting your account

  • Your profile stays until you delete it. You can hide it at any time, or delete your account from My profile.
  • Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, photos, contact details, wishlist, requests, connections and login.
  • Payment records are kept for the samaj's accounts, as the law requires. Reports made about a profile are kept so the committee can handle any repeat problems.

7. Your choices

  • You can view and correct your details at any time from My profile.
  • You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below.
  • Only adults of legal marriage age may be registered (see our Terms & Conditions).

8. Keeping your information safe

The website uses a secure (https) connection, the database can only be reached by our server, and photos are stored in each member's own folder. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
